First X Saluki Greyhound

I think, for here in Ireland, for the type of land we have, its hard to beet a good, first x saluki greyhound as a allrounder.

Just heard yesterday from a fella that bred a litter, a well bred 10 month pup first x from the litter, killed 3 big rabbits the other day, bred out of Mike and a very good greyhound bitch.

Rest of the litter are doing well too. I have had this cross in the passed and found them to excel on most things put to them, not just big rabbits.

A good one has the speed and stamina, to run all day here in Ireland, turn well ect.

Their has been many good 1st crosses over here over the years and i personally still swear by them, pot fillers, if brought on right ans bred right, not just any old greyhound or saluki. Just my take on the cross, feel free to add your own experiences ect.

If the right greyhound is found, from what i have seen, in the passed and of late, most of the litter seem to do very well in the field.

Mike seems to click well with well bred greyhound bitches.

I have one also and hes very steady and willing to run anything you ask of him.Im defo going to have another in the future.Hes fast off the mark and seems to be game enough for teeth and has decent nose too for feather.Im very pleased with him anyway.
